Ready to move to Juniors!

In class 3 we are pushing our learning further and working really hard in class to show what we are capable of. Mrs Williamson is really proud of us for all of our hard work this year!

We have been developing our sketching skills. Here is a photo of George's wasp! What a fantastic artist you are George!

MAGNA!
All of Year 2 had a fantastic visit to Magna where we investigated forces using the different exhibits and the outdoor area. We really enjoyed the workshops where we built our own rockets using vinegar, baking soda and different containers.
Hailie: I really liked the workshop because it was
fun ,stinky and stunk of vinegar.

Katie W: I thought it was relly exciting but near the fire it was making me hot.

Everyone got soaked in Aquatek. It was great fun!

Back in class we worked on making our own models of things we were interested in and made them move using levers, with a pully, air, pushes and pulls. We have some great scientists in Class 3.

Skye: My model is called jls and is
very interesting because the dances what they do is very unique and my model makes JLS pop up as you blow the balloon up!

Class 3 graduation
In Class 3 we are writing a graduation scroll of another child's achievements in class this year. We are having a graduation ceremony just for the children as a celebration of their work and achievements.

LEAVER'S ASSEMBLY
Class 3 are busy working on our next project which is our play for the leaver's assembly, performed on the last day of term. The children are writing their own script and we are making our own costumes and scenery.
Performance time: 9:10am Friday 23rd July 2010

Our new Junior teacher
Next year class 3 will be going up to Year 3 and their new teacher will be Mr Pursehouse. Mr Pursehouse has worked in class 3 to see some of the work they are doing and Mrs Williamson will be coming to do some work in Year 3 also.
